Night Stalker Rissa-Loneliness

Published by sunnflr at 4:35 pm under flash fiction Edit This

The loneliness was suffocating Rissa. The time she spent with Stan was nice, but she wanted a real friend, someone who understood her. Sampson introduced her to some other Stalkers who welcomed her into their group. None of them “get me,” she thought, heading home after a long night. They’re all so boring! All they do is hunt and sleep. They need to get a life!

“Maybe I should find those two snot nosed kids. I bet the group they hang around with is more interesting,” she muttered while opening the door at home.

Looking at herself in the bathroom mirror, Rissa informed her reflection, “Tomorrow we get some new clothes. You are looking raggedy, girl.”

At least tomorrow night will be challenging, she thought. It’s not easy finding someone my exact size.

“Not everyone can be this perfect,” she giggled to her reflection before turning out the light and heading to bed, her spirits lifted at the thought.
