Aldridge Gardens

We visited Aldridge Gardens in Birmingham, Alabama this past weekend. I’ve only been to one other botanical gardens so didn’t really know what to expect. The flowers they had were nice, but there weren’t many of them. We expected more colors and such.

The grounds were very well maintained and nice. There is a walking path around a lake, a pavilion, and other paths that offer views of flowers. What they had was very pretty.

There was a wedding reception going to be held in the pavilion that evening. It did look like a nice location for this type of thing. Put some flowers around and with the backdrop it would make for wonderful wedding pictures. I also believe the little bridge they had would be a good place for a couple to take some pictures.

I’m including some photos for y’all to see. Hope you like them.
