It Doesn’t Take Much to Make Me Happy

Published by sunnflr at 2:22 pm under Family Edit This

Are you someone who loves the little gestures? Is all it takes to make your day a smile and kind word? I am one of those people.

My husband says I’m easy to please. I don’t ask for much, hardly ever spend money on myself, and am generally in a good mood. I know, people like me often get on other’s nerves, but we can’t do anything about it. This is just the way we are. My husband says he thanks his lucky stars that I’m not high maintenance when he hears stories from his buddies.

One of the reasons I am easy to please and happy is because my husband is a great guy. As you know, he is away on storm duty. I really miss him when he’s gone and get a little down at times because I don’t get to talk with him often. He knows this and tries to send messages or call as much as he can. Sometimes it just isn’t possible though.

He made up for all the missed calls last night. This is the message he sent me:

“I want you to know that you mean the world to me. I love and miss you.”

How sweet is that? It made me cry. I am very lucky to have him!

    That is very sweet! Lucky!

I’m an easy to please girl too. It doesn’t take much to entertain me or make me happy. I think that is a good thing. It shouldn’t be so much work to be happy.

That is so sweet. It sounds like you have a great guy. I love it when guys know just the right thing to say just when you need to hear it the most.

I agree, Kelly, being happy should just happen naturally. If it’s hard, then something isn’t right.

ssosbe, it sure is nice. Makes up for all the times they stick their foot in their mouth…lol.
